LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, J & L New York is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from a purchase or use of this website, including lost profits or the cost of an installation appointment, when those damages were not caused by conduct for which liability cannot legally be limited.
For a claim arising from a particular order, J & L New York’s total liability for ordinary economic loss will not exceed the amount the customer paid J & L New York for the affected item or service in that order.
This section does not prevent a customer from bringing a claim. It does not limit refunds or other remedies required by law, or liability that cannot legally be limited, including for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or personal injury where such a limit is prohibited. If any part of this section is unenforceable, the remaining lawful terms still apply.
